The Grand Traverse has a proud history of operating as a major fundraising event for the not-for-profit, community ski area – Crested Butte Nordic. Many teams have chosen to make their race experience more meaningful by racing on behalf of a charity of their own choosing. The Grand Traverse is honored to partner with these dedicated athletes and their charitable organizations.
15 registrations are annually reserved for teams committing to race for charitable purpose. Charity teams pay a full registration fee, however they receive a guaranteed entry into the race, prior to the opening of General Registration.
How to Apply:
Teams that have aligned themselves with a charitable cause may apply for a Charity Entry during the month of October. Selected teams will receive an email from the race director the first week of November, informing them of their reserved entry into the event.
